This was a great evening. For some time we decided to eat some fresh fish, buying it from the local store. Each evening trying a new one, different fish.
So as you see in the picture I made different stuff. First is the fish. In some previous recipe I described how I fry it - with no egg or flour. Just putting some spices and greens.
Simply boiled the rice adding just salt. I didn't want to complicate it too much.
And a salad - the salad is made of the main ingredient the Chinese cabbage, some red thing smelling of crab, corn and mayonnaise.
We had a bottle of wine in the fridge - it was "Buchet Moldavii" (Moldavia Buchet) something like Martini tastes. It was a great evening.

Macaronis, chicken, mushrooms, salad - super
Hey this is grate. This is what my boyfriend loves best. In this food there are present all the desired elements: his favorite macaronis, mushrooms, salad and meat.
This is all just simple. First of all the meat. This is chicken - I boil it and than fry. If you fry it from the beginning you waste a lot of time. It is more efficient to boil it until it is almost ready. Than simple fry it with spices.
The mushrooms it is better to boil them first and than also fry. I added onions and tomatoes. So this is a mushroom sous.
Macaronis are made also easily. No special souses I used. Just hard macaronis boiled.
A salad from tomatoes with onions. It was a great super. :)

Examples of Lunch!
Here is another section of examples of Lunch. Here you can find links on other examples of lunch.
The first picture represents mushed potatoes, fried fish with some amazing spices and salad.
Mushed potatoes I think is not very difficult to make. The fish was fried with no egg or flour. I just salted it, added pepper and some greens so it got the color. The salad is made of tomatoes, yellow sweet bulgarian pepper, onion, cucumbers and mayonnaise.
This one contains my favorite eggplants. If you make them in a proper way this can be the most tasteful things in the world.
First of all you have to cut the eggplants and put them into water for abut 10 min. Than fry them adding salt and garlic. Very tasty in the end. There are many recipes with eggplants, I love them.
You can also see in the picture some potatoes. These potatoes were made in the oven. All I did is cut the potatoes and put them in the oven in a covered tan. Typical spices like pepper.
Instead of salad it was just cucumbers. Very tasty and no need of meat.
This one is more difficult I think. More than that I invented the recipe myself :)
This is rice with vegetables: corn and eggplants again.
You have to prepare it separately. Boil the rice and fry the eggplants with some onions so that it still keeps its form. Than add the rice on the tan with the eggplants and mix adding spices and the add the corn at the end.
Instead of salad you can see some pickled cucumbers.
This is how I cook. I hope you like it:)

Red Soup
Red soup made from all sort of veggies.
I love all kind of soups. I think it is very healthy and you should each day eat a soup. That way you can maintain your stomach healthy. You can make it from meat, or even no meat, just vegetables.
This is how I make my red soup. The meat can be any type, but if you don't want any meat, just follow the simple recipe. The main thing is the beet.
Ingredients:
beet
cabbage
potato
carrot
onion
tomatoes
The beet should go first. When ready add tomatoes, potatoes.
Fry the carrot and onions and add after potatoes are ready. Add spices and other stuff what you think is good. I like to add basil to all my soups. I like the smell. As it is cold now, I add garlic in the soup. The natural garlic helps you to maintain your health during cold times.

Eyeglasses - sponsored post
I read this post about eyeglasses and I understood how important they are for a person.
I don't wear glasses, even though I feel sometimes like I need them. But I have a lot of friends that wear eyeglasses everyday and I understand for important it is to them to choose the right one. Starting from its usage, the glasses should fit perfectly your eyes, you should be able to see clearly with the needed lenses. But it is no less important to buy those eyeglasses that fit your face. The perfect color, the perfect form.
Zeni eyeglasses start from 8$ which is really cheap. But they offer a huge variety of eyeglasses, any type of lenses like sunglasses lens, progressive lens.
I know people that look totally different when they wear glasses, than when they don't.
And it is important to find those one that have it all together, quality, shape, fashion and price.
Because sometimes you may wear expensive eyeglasses, which are in vogue, but they are not for you. But also wearing good eyeglasses which are too expensive for you is not a solution also. You have to choose what is best for you. Millions of people wear eyeglasses and they need to have places were to find what they need.
As eyeglasses represent what you are, you should pay attention on that and choose only what is good and fits you.

Placinte)
I haven't posted anything for a long time, I hope you excuse me.
I was cooking a lot, but didn't have time for posting all those pictures.
Yesterday I found in the local market the puff dough that I haven't seen a lot. It is different from the others, because it is made of pieces of dough like paper. I decided to take one, and bake something nice. So...
the ingredients are:
500 gr of curd
1 package of puff dough
4 eggs
salt
The method of preparing:
First of all you have to mix the curd with 3 eggs. This should be done for obtaining a more liquid curd. Maybe you can add some milk or anything else. You just have to make it more liquid.
Than take 2-3 sheets of dough and put on the the curd. Than again 2-3 sheets and again curd and so on. In the end cover everything with one egg.
Put in the hot oven for 20 min. Don't keep it too long, because it may become too dry. Follow the pictures.

Pancakes with raisins
Pancakes with raisins are really tasty. I never thought that they can have such a taste. The secret is that raisins become very sweet inside of the pancakes.
Normally for pancakes you need two eggs, 1.5 cup of flour, milk. Mix everything and add raisins when you turn it on the pan already.

SocialSpark - sponsored post
Even though I like to cook and to write and tell everyone about what I do. I keep my blog also for many other things, like making people get to know about Moldova and its culture. I think each blogger which wants to tell people about something special has to receive something back. That is why having some sponsored posts on your blog sometimes, which are ok with your other posts is really good. Social Spark is offering the possibility of obtaining money from your blog by legal, fair means. I am sure that each blogger would accept to write about something for a sum of money. Which is very simple, when you have a popular blog, just post a sponsored post, which is connected to the theme of your blog. Why not, everyone does it. You express your own opinion about a thing and Izea pays you money for that. Many people don’t even search for another job, they just write sponsored posts that they are told to. That is how I write about cuisine from other countries, about cultures and traveling. When I have free time I like to promote some other website or products for money, this SocialSpark is really a lot of fun.

Zama
I have already told once how to cook this kind of soup. This is a traditional moldavian/romanian soup. The main thing about it is the colors. My grand mother used to do zama from doves sometimes. She had a lot of doves in under the roof of the house.
Normally zama is made of chicken meat, or any other bird meat.
Meat
home made noodles
carrot
onions

I like to visit different countries, visit new cities and get to know closer the culture of these countries, to see in reality the things about which I heard a lot of times and read a lot. When I visit a new country, besides all the aspects I like to taste the local cuisine.
When I visited Los Angeles I was surprised by the diversity that is gathered there. There were so many things from all sides of the world all gathered together in one place. I could see all types of culture like from Russians to Japanese, Indian, Italian and many others. So what I did in Los Angeles is: I visited the Universal studios of Hollywood of course, everyone should see that, than the Aquarium of the pacific. Chicago things to doI like very much the historic downtown and you can compare it to the contemporary downtown – great view. Also I visited the Disney Land, which is pretty huge. One of the things that impressed me a lot is Tijuana Mexican shopping. And of course I have visited a lot of restaurants with Mexican, Chinese and many other foods. You can win 150$ if you sign up to this newsletter. sightseeing tours offers great tours in a lot of beautiful and interesting cities, as Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco etc.

These cookies we were making with my mother, when I was little. When we had parties at school I was always bringing them at school.

Mix everything as you see in the picture, so that one is has brown color, and the other yellow, than add 100 gr of margarine in each bowl.
Than add 1.5 coup of flour in each bowl, and make the dough. So you have to obtain two different colors dough.
Than do what you see in the picture, and make a roulette from these two parts of dough.
Cut into small pieces like cookies, and put in the oven for 20 min approximately.
This is what you should get in the end. It is very tasty. Cacao gives them a special taste.

Coltunasi - Dumplings
Coltunasi are traditional food in Moldova. At least I suppose so. And not "russian pelmeni" with meat, but coltunasi - dumplings with potatoes.
They can be also with cheese, with potatoes and mushrooms, with cherry.
I prefer those dumplings with cheese and potatoes.
Here is how they look like when they are ready. I like to eat the dumplings adding cream. They are pretty caloric thats why you shouldn't eat them too often.

Meat Balls, Pirjoale
Meat balls are very famous in this region. They can be any size, like big or small, but they have different names. They can be also from different meat, like beef, pork, chicken or even fish. And they can be fried or boiled.
The following recipe of meat balls is an independent recipe and doesn't need a sous, like for small meat balls.
The ingredients are:
Minced meat
1 egg
onions
150 gr of bread
spices
garlic (maybe)
Method of preparing: if you are on a diet you can use chicken meat, and don't fry them on oil. But i used beef as you see in the picture. You have to prepare everything< cut the onions, put the bread in some water and put everything in a bowl as you see in the picture.
Than mix everything, and make these meat balls into such forms like you see in the picture.
Put them on the pan, and fry until they are ready.

Zama
Zama (zeama) is a traditional romanian soup, made in both Moldova and Romania regions. This is a very old tradition and I never met any soup like that in other cultures.
The soup is a very healthy variant of soup, it doesn't actually contain much fat, because it is made of bird meat.
My variant of zama is from chicken. If you add special spices than you will get the specific taste of zama.
The ingredients are:
chicken meat
vermicelli
onions
carrot
lovage
spices
potatoes (traditionally are not used)
Method of preparing:
Normally first prepare the meat. Cut the onions and the carrot into very small pieces and fry them, than add in the soup. Than when it is ready, after 40 min, add the vermicelli, normally they should be home made, but you can by them. This should be little vermicelli, small pieces. If you want to put some potatoes than add them before adding vermicelli. At the end add the lovage, this type of greens that gives a specific taste. There are actually spices from Maggi which have the same smell, you can try.
I hope you like it!

Plov, Pilaf
This is not a traditional Moldavian Cuisine for sure. It comes from Uzbekistan if i'm not wrong. Plov is very tasty and healthy. Even if it is very spread and a lot of people cook it everyday, it has a special technology of cooking. And only good cookers can make a real Plov.
The ingredients are:
Meat, traditionally it is pork or beef, I use chicken sometime
rice
onions
carrots
spices
Method of preparing:
Firstly fry the meat, until it is almost ready. As you see in the first picture, after you fried the meat, add the onions and carrots.
When everything obtains a brown color, add Curry spice. That way everything will become yellow, the traditional color of Plov
Than add the rice. I chose the Chinese prolonged rice as you can see in the picture. The secret is that you add the rice, which has to cover the meat with 1 cm, and that add some water, which will cover the rice up to 2 cm. And cover it, and don't mix until it gets ready.
This is how it looks in the end. There are special spices for Plov/Pilaf, normally caucasian + garlic.
This is what I got in the end) Enjoy)
